2020 OCB No Gear Classic Pro/Am

Time: 10:00 AM (event will run straight through with an intermission after group comparisons and before individual presentations/awards).
Tickets: Adult General Admission $TBD, Under Age 12 General Admission $TBD, Age 3 and under Free: Tickets will be available for purchase online until May 10. After May 10 tickets can be purchased at athlete check in or at the door. Cash is preferred. There will be a $2.00 per ticket convenience charge for cards at the door.
Assistant (general admission plus backstage access): $80 (only applicable to those helping a competitor prepare backstage). One assistant max per competitor is permitted.

*This is an unconditional Pro Qualifier; Pro Cards will be awarded to all open and 40+ divisions regardless of number competing in the division. Twelve pro cards guaranteed.
NOVICE ELIGIBILITY: Cannot have placed first in any class (besides Teen), within any division, within any category, with any organization (with the exception of cases where first place was won in a class that only had one competitor in it).
Amateur Classes: When more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height.
Pro Classes: When more than one class in a division, classes are formed by dividing competitors evenly by height. In the event there is more than one class of pro competitors the top 3 athletes in each class will go head to head to determine the top 3 overall winners. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 overall athletes.
Crossover Entries: A crossover entry is entering more than one division within a category. For example, someone may enter the Novice division, if eligible, and also elect to crossover into the Open division and compete in it as well. Competitors may not participate in more than one category (Bikini, Figure, Physique, Bodybuilding, and Classic Physique) at any given show. Physique and Bodybuilding are not permitted.
Awards: Amateur divisions – The top 5 in each class will receive awards. Pro Divisions – Top 3 guaranteed payout as follows: 1st $1000, 2nd $750, 3rd $250.
Eligibility: All competitors are required to be current members of OCB to participate in this event. If needing to obtain the annual membership please do so before May 17th. Memberships can be purchased on OCBonline.com.
Pro Eligibility: Pros from all organizations meeting these guidelines are eligible.
This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet the eligibility criteria listed in the OCB drug testing guidelines in order to participate. Prior to registering competitors should review the procedures and list of banned substances posted on OCBonline.com.
Banned Substances Screening Methods: All competitors are required to be polygraph screened prior to competing. In addition, all pro qualifying placement winners are required to provide a urine specimen immediately after the conclusion of the event for urinalysis testing. It is your responsibility to make sure this is done. If you fail to take the polygraph or submit a urine sample for any reason you will be disqualified.
Check-Ins/Polygraph Screenings: By appointment Thursday, May 20 TBD and Friday, May 21 (times to be determined) at the host hotel – Hawthorn Suites, 7623 Thorndike Rd, Greensboro, NC 27409. The exact room number will be emailed to competitors the night before testing begins (or Thursday afternoon for those checking in early). A link to schedule an appointment will be emailed out after registration about 10-14 days prior to testing. The polygraph fee is TBD and is payable in cash only at the time of testing. Exact change would be appreciated. Polygraph results are valid for other OCB amateur shows held within six weeks. Pros have to polygraph at each event. Polygraph fees are non-refundable.
Music: All competitors can supply their own music for their individual presentation or can request house music be used instead. Posing and t-walks will be limited to 1 minute for amateurs. Pro competitors will be allowed 90 seconds for routines and t-walks. Music can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org in an mp3 format. Music must be received by May 10, 2021, or house music will be played.

Backstage Policy: One assistant max per competitor is allowed backstage. The assistant MUST buy a trainer/assistant ticket ($80), which is good for general admission and backstage access. No one under the age of 18 is allowed backstage. No males allowed in women’s dressing room, and no females allowed in men’s dressing room. Competitors are responsible for the behavior of their guests. If anyone is found backstage without a Trainer/Assistant’s ticket, they will be escorted out of the building, will not be allowed to re-enter. If there is a second offense the competitor they were assisting will be disqualified from the contest.
Be VERY careful not to get tan on the walls and toilets. You must be fully clothed to sit in the auditorium. Throw your trash away before leaving. Please respect this facility and the volunteers that have to clean up after you!
Competitor Prep Area: Lightweights, bands, and mirrors will be backstage for use in preparing to go on stage. Competitors are welcome to bring their own equipment and mirrors as well.
Stage Photography Coverage: The photo order form lays out the details for stage photo coverage. Those who pre-order have a lot more photos taken of them. We will have pre-order forms at check-in. Please fill that out and hand it to the photographer before the show starts.
Video Recording Policy: Competitors and friends/family are welcome to bring recording devices.
Spray Tanning, Hair & Makeup Services: Contact Scott Johnson to schedule spray tanning and make-up. email@example.com No other spray tanner will be allowed in the venue. If another spray tanner is found in the venue they will be asked to leave and the competitor will be disqualified.
